About the Role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new commercial construction opportunities. This individual will build and maintain relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, government agencies, and strategic partners to generate qualified project leads and support the company’s growth objectives.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of the commercial construction industry, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to convert opportunities into awarded projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

  • 5+ years of business development experience in commercial construction.

  • Established network of owners, developers, architects, and industry partners.

  • Strong understanding of construction delivery methods, estimating, and preconstruction.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to travel locally to meetings, networking events, and project sites.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Office, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
